How to categorize a website into custom categories

Websites in SafeSquid are categorized by SSqore.
SSqore analyzes the nature of content served by websites and categorizes the websites.
Benefits of such categorization is policies can be configured based on the web category.
For, e.g.: To allow all websites which are categorized as government.
But at times you want multiple web category to have a custom category for easy policy configuration.
Best example for this would be Company Blacklisted Websites or Company Whitelisted Websites where websites from different web categories needs to be categorized as single category, based on company requirements.
Custom Web-Categories in SafeSquid can be used to create such private categories efficiently.
You can follow below steps on how to create a custom website category.
Access your SafeSquid web interface https://safesquid.cfg/ Go to “Configure” Click on “Custom Settings” Select Categorize Web-sites Search for the domain you wish to add into custom category. Now Click “Search” Enter private category in “choose categories” Now Press enter Click “Modify”. Notice that it “says www.w3schools.com: success” above “LAST CHANGES BY” Now refresh the web page by clicking on the “refresh” icon. Search for the same domain again to validate if the domain has been added to the custom category. You can now add additional websites to the same category. Click modify to add the website to the custom category Now you can create custom policies using your custom web category.
